Ever since she can remember, Hayley dreamed of creating beautiful homes. As the daughter of an architectural designer, her childhood memories consist of walking job sites, listening to her father explain details of the projects he was working on. She immediately began a career in construction after completing her education, where she learned everything she never knew she would eventually need – how to manage purchasing, run financial reports and create budgets, manage projects, build a team, and more. 

 

After over seven years in construction, Hayley began taking interior design projects on the side. With a few remodels under her belt, she took a leap of faith to pursue her lifelong passion, and HLC Studio was born. All of the skills she learned while working in construction combined with the determination it took to build up her design portfolio while maintaining her job now allow her to efficiently run her successful studio full time.

 

Hayley lives in California with her husband, their two daughters, and their sweet pups. When she’s not designing and managing projects for her incredible clients, you’ll find Hayley sipping wine while enjoying the scenic views in Carmel, California, or retreating to the mountains and enjoying time in nature with her family.
